Like many other carriers in recent years, Spanish Vueling decided to increase its presence in the largest Croatian coastal city and announced the introduction of its sixth direct connection with Split.
From July 2 to September 7, 2015 Split will be directly connected to Turin twice a week. Turin is the cultural and historical center of North-West Italy and one of the largest Italian cities. Flights to the capital of the Piedmont region could also be of interest to all travelers who wish to visit Switzerland or the Côte d'Azur.
Flights on this route will operate twice per week - on Mondays and Thursdays. All flights depart at midday - from Split at 12:50 and 16:55, and from Turin at 12:15 and 14:55. Flights last 75-90 minutes.
This route is part of Vueling's expansion in Turin, i. e. they have also announced links to Alicante and Menorca. Regarding Split, Vueling now flies there from Barcelona, Catania (Sicily), Florence, Palermo (Sicily), Rome and Turin.
Tickets can now be purchased and prices are as low as 29,99 EUR for a one-way ticket. These prices are available for flights in both directions, so one can buy a return ticket for 60 EUR, i. e. 70 EUR with administration fee included.
